"Stolen Skid Steer"
On August 22, 2008 the sheriff's department investigated a theft of a Bobcat skid steer from
the Chelsea Conservation Club. The Bobcat is owned by Niemuth Implement. The Bobcat was stolen
sometime before 9 AM on Wednesday, August 20, 2008.
The skid steer was a Bobcat model S185 Skid Steer Loader with serial number A3L911055.
There was also a bucket attached to the Bobcat. The Bobcat was mostly white with a black
cab and black bucket. The photograph is of an identical model to the one that was stolen.
The sheriff's department also investigated a theft of a 20' trailer that had been reported
stolen from the Chelsea Conservation Club sometime between August 18th and August 19th. The
trailer was large enough to haul the Bobcat and it is believed that the trailer and Bobcat
were stolen at the same time.
