Paws for Brittany is a fun run/dog walk honoring Marshfield native and pet lover Brittany Zimmermann. Proceeds benefit Marshfield Area Pet Shelter. May 9, at Wildwood Park, 1800 S. Roddis Ave., Marshfield. Check-in/sign-up at 8 AM, run/walk at 9 AM, refreshments to follow. $25 for participants age 13+, includes t-shirt. Bring your items to sell or buy items from 8am until 1pm. The cost to sell is $20.00 for two parking spaces. Food and drink will also be sold. From 1:00PM to 11:30PM

St. Bernard's-St Hedwig's parish is sponsoring Spring Fling on Saturday, May 9th at the Quonset Hall In Thorp. Festivities begin at 1:00 with children's games, music, food, an outdoor mass at 3:30, an ethnic Polish meal from 4- 6, a rock band, The Cragars from 7-11:30 and bucket and golden rafflles. Come join the FUN.

Located at Perkinstown Winter Sports Area. Designed for all ages, activities will include morning bird and wildflower walks, habitat restoration, and an afternoon bus tour of birding sites. Lunch will be provided with a bird talk including a living owl. There will also be nature games and displays about improving bird habitat. No charge for activities. Hosted by Chequamegon Bird Club.
