K99's 2010 Dairy Dessert Contest
Brought to you by HURD Window Center and K & B Refrigeration
- Entries must be mailed, dropped off or submitted via email to WKEB/WIGM Radio, P.O. Box 59, Medford, WI 54451. One entry per person. Entries must be postmarked or emailed by Friday, July 23, 2010. Pre-registration is required.
- All Dairy Desserts must include 2 REAL Dairy products to be eligible. Eggs are not a dairy product.
- Dairy Dessert Recipe must be TYPED on a recipe card, or emailed, and must include entrants name, address, phone number. The two REAL dairy products must be highlighted in the recipe. The recipe card may be dropped off at K99 or emailed to dana@k99wigm.com
- All entries become the property of WKEB/WIGM Radio and available for any future publications at no additional compensation to contestants.
- Employees of WKEB/WIGM Radio, K&B Refrigeration, and Hurd Window Center are ineligible to participate. (All other employees of Hurd are eligible.)
- The Dairy Dessert as described in your recipe must be brought to the Taylor County Fair between 10am and Noon on Friday, July 30, 2010 to the Taylor County Community Center (Unless other arrangements have been made with K99) A refrigerator/freezer will be available for desserts that need to be kept cold
- If you would like your dessert container back it must have a clearly marked name label and it will be available for pick-up immediately after the contest (which is preferred), or at the K99 Studios on Monday, August 2nd. If there is no label, the container will be disposed of.
- Judging will begin at 1pm. Dairy Desserts will be judged and awarded according to appearance, originality/uniqueness of ingredients, texture, and taste. The winner of Overall Best Of Show will win a select, Frigidaire Freezer courtesy K&B Refrigeration. In the case of a tie, the winner will be determined by a random drawing.
- Winners will be announced after the judging on Friday and again on the evening's local news program on WKEB 99.3 FM
