WKEB/WIGM Radio would like to extend this special invitation for you to register now for our annual Radio Trivia Contest. The Trivia Contest will be held Saturday, March 20th from 5pm-11pm & is open to anyone interested in an evening of mind cramping, detail oriented trivial fun! So gather your family, friends, business associates, and anyone else who loves trivia for a night of fun!

The contest format is the same as other years.  K99/WIGM Radio will be broadcasting the contest live on 99.3 FM and k99wigm.com but remind you that they’re not responsible for any technical problems that may occur on contest night with streaming.

We hope that you will join us this year. Please Pre-Register by March 14th. Cost is just $15 per team, prize payout based on number of teams participating.  Enter now for a game of “friendly” competition and spread the word about this year’s contest.

TRIVIA RULES:

  1. The Decision of the Trivia Oz is FINAL
  2. If you wish to dispute an answer to a question you must have two hard copy sources.
  3. Teams may be comprised of any number of players
  4. The Announcer on WKEB will ask at least 60 questions throughout the night.  After the question is read you will have until the announcer states phones down on that question to call in your answer (remember if your are listening on-line there will be a delay in audio)  If you get the question correct, you will be asked for your team name and number. One answer per phone call
  5. If your answer is incorrect, you will be asked to try again.  You will have a limited time to answer each question.  The operator will not help you
  6. Some question during the evening may offer teams only one chance to call in with the answer(s).  These questions will be explained on the air before the question is read.  When these special questions are announced, you will be asked to first give your team name and number, and then your answer.
  7. The TRIVIA OZ phone line number is for the purpose of discussing any question after the time has expired for that question.  You must call within 15 minutes of the end of that particular question. You must give your team name and number before you can state your case.
  8. Nuisance calls to the OZ or Answer line will be docked 25 points
  9. Cheating will not be tolerated
  10. Points will be awarded when your team answers the question correctly.  Each hour's questions will have a designated point value and each team will receive that amount of points, no matter how many teams get the answer correct. Each Hours point value will be higher than the previous.
  11. In the event of a tie, the process for determining a winner will be explained and only those teams involved in the tie will be eligible to participate in the tie breaking process.
  12. This contest is FOR FUN, please don't forget that
